A while backI think I read somewhere that you had got rid of the smiley faces on the screen. HOW. I have come to dislike them due to sometimes I type something, add a smiley and the whole post deletes so I just have to retype it. Also you click on say, the question mark and it comes up as something else. For this reason Ive chosen not to use them and would prefer not to have them flashing on the screen.

Assuming you're using Internet Explorer, go to the Tools menu, click on Internet Options, then on the Advanced tab, scroll down to Multimedia, then uncheck "Play animations in Web pages." Click on Apply, and you'll never be annoyed again.

Those darned smilies are totally messed up. Click on one of them and, when you post your message, another one has taken its place, changing the intent entirely at times. I really wish there was a (working) set of the old, non-wiggly sort.
