Nooo....actually, you don't have to wait. Backlight anything at all and it'll be a silhouette. Hold yourbig toeup in front of a lamp, and you'll have it.

I don't think my big toe will make a nice shot, especially as it's tea time here. I don't have much in the way of lights to backlight anythinganyway but i have an idea for a shot or two when the weather picks up.:-)

Neat! It's amazing what you can do in photoshop. It looks like that shadow art where you cut out the silhouette and put it on white paper.

Puck, that's virtually what it is. I took the photo of my son then made a duplicate layer and created the black background with the white circle on the duplicate layer using the gradient tool. Then i selected and copied Jack from the photo to the duplicate and coloured him black. :-)

what a great effect. That reminded me of a friend of mine whose name really is James Bond, when ever he gets stopped by the police for a breathaliser check, they ask his name. He tells them and they say "look mate, cut the crap and give us your real name":-):-)

I know a bloke called Jack Dempsey like the famous boxer and he used to get a slap from the coppers when they caught him up to no good when he was a kid. Same thing, they asked his name and he told them and got a slap for taking the p**s. :-)

Bananafoot strikes again...

Not sure that was such a good idea. This is what you get for too many years of running mountaineering, backpacking, and latterly hobbling.

This is NOT a silhouette entry, on grounds of common decency.

OHHH!! I've just had my dinner. Seriously though, imagine what Zola Budd's feet will be like when she gets older. :-)
