I remember them all! I actually even remember Burma Shave signs - we were exposed to a lot of culture as children... :-)

I believe, as jackrussell mentioned, that Tony the Tiger has been resurrected in recent advertising campaigns for Sugar Frosted Flakes.

But, Burma Shave, the Alka Seltzer dude, and Ipana's Bucky - well... that's really reaching for those memories. I'm sure the younger crowd reading this is thinking we've gone wacky!

lol..i know Tony the Tiger.....but none of the other ones...

the main one now is "Gecko"...for the geico commercials "Everybody was kungfu fighting......"

Oh, I love that little Gecko! And the Aflac (sp?) duck. The old commercials are good for sentimentality, but they haven't the high creativity of some of today's. I often sit through the commercials completely enthralled, not because I care about the products, but because they are so creative in both concept and execution.

Barbara, my husband won an AFLAC duck at a convention - it really said "Aflac" and he gave it to the wife of his client sitting with him, who cooed over him winning it!!!! I was so disappointed but he sure made that lady happy!
