I found this shot that i'd forgot about. I was actually just after the sunset because of the colour of the clouds. The hill in the distance is Witton Country Park and i took this shot from the bottom of my garden. Hope it's OK.:-)

This is such a nice sky - and I really like how the leaves are on the upper left and lower right - as if pulling the photo across the bias.

Thanks monkey, it was the sky that tempted me to get my camera out. I wasn't sure if it would qualify for this challenge as there is no subject as such but when i was looking through my photos i noticed that the trees and the park were in silhouette even though that wasn't my intention. :-)

Jackrussell, I wouldn't have worried about whether or not this picture qualifies - it sure seems so to me...

Sunsets provide such good opportunities for capturing beautiful colors and cloud formations and silhouettedforegrounds. You've done well.

You shouldn't have said a thing about it being accidental. No-one would have known otherwise. :-) It is a very nice picture Mark. Well done.

Thanks everyone, the weathermen say it'll be sunny tomorrow so i'll try and get an intentional silhouette. :-)

Never point out flaws because others will then notice them. Admit to no accidentsso others willthink you know what you're doing. In essence, don't ever make excuses for your photography. This one needs no excuses.
