This was taken on the federal wild life reserve adjacent to the Kennedy Space center. It is of Launch pad B frop where Space shuttles are launched. We were taking wildlife and landscape photos and drove up on that view.

It is quite a spectacular site. I was fortuante enough to work out there for 8 years and saw launches from the spacecenter itself. I actually saw the challenger explode and the debris rain down into the ocean from about 3 1/2 miles away. It was a sombering realization knowing the crew was lost.

I hope our country can return to space flight soon!

That's an interesting shot. I don't know about anyone else, but I didn't even consider the fact that it isn't just backlighting that can help create a silhouette. Mist can do it too.
