Nothing earth shattering. Simply a mother duck standing guard on a log in a pond at the St. Charles River Esplanade in Boston

I really like this! It's the lack of polarizer (i assume you didn't use) that really makes this work. The ducks stand out, both in their own skin and in their reflections. :-)

This is a beautiful photo, Selvin! My taste--which isn't necessarily valid--would dictate cloning out a lot of the pond "junk," thus leaving nothing to pull the eye away from the birds and their relection.

Very nicely composed and exposed, Selvin

Err...are these wood ducks?

There's another good picture here as well as the rather fine one posted, if it's cropped heavily to leave just the upside-down silhouette and a bit of log.

Well, not really. It's an 800x600 image and only half of it at a time fits inthe browser window on my 800x600 screen. So it rather leapt out and hit me.
