Looks like it might have been shot from the cab of a diesel train locomotive. I can see some microwave towers in the background which might be present in a railroad yard.

It could also be from the cockpit of a small airplane.

It could also be that I don't have any idea!

good guesses calr, but not really close... I won't say yet, although there's a hint in a similar photograph I took in landscape photos section :-)

Any thoughts on the pic ? I was pleased with it on LCD, but doesnt seem as nice on bigger screen and also accidentaly shooting at iso 1000 was a bit of a 'schoolboy error' :!: doh

OK, I know what it is but I'm not going to say. I will say that the angle you chose is what made it work.

Sorry about the duplicate post above. I got interrupted as I was posting and when I looked back at my screen, I wasn't sure if I posted or not. Just as I saw the duplicate post, I lost my network connection. I am at work and we are doing some major work with power in the data center today.

As I said, I know what and how and have confirmed it with Jimbo and he gave me permission to post the solution. However, I am just going to give some hints.

Hint 1: Look at the left half of the picture. Now look at the right half of the picture.

Hint 2: Reflect upon what you see.
