This is my wife Angie and our nephew Thomas posing for me at the bottom of the garden last night. :-)

Great! I think I would take the wonderful silhouette of the people, crop it down to a tight vertical and clone out the remaining trees. The sun off the shot really leads down to them and the rest, for me, is just noise. It detracts from the superb shot that's the right third of this photo. :-)

Jack Russell...

You have taken a truly, breathtaking photograph.

The way your wife and nephew's hair is gently sunlit...

The way the sun seems to beam down to bless two precious lives...

Theposture of your wife as she supports the weight of your nephew...

The composition, the exposure...

Truly a stunner, Jack Russell.

Print this one...big!

Betsy's crop idea is excellent, Digcamfan's take on the photo is right on, and if you hadn't mentioned the cloud, I wouldn't have noticed it. Now that you've pointed it out to everyone, you're doomed. You'll have to remove it.:-)

I cropped out the trees and fence and got rid of the cloud. :-)

Jack Russell...

Put it all back...

I like the tree...it ties in with the sun...Yeah!!!

And the cloud...what cloud? I thought that was a halo over your saintly spouse!

Beauty, I know...is in the eye of the beholder...and this forum member likes your original better.

Perhaps, you could ask Steve (the big guy!) what he thinks...

It's OK digcam fan, we've got both versions up now and even the first one was a crop which took out some fence on the right hand side. Thanks again. :-)

You know something? I think Digcamfan is right. (What do you think, Betsy?)
