hello, kex wonderful pictures remembered me of this picture I took last summer. well it was not a digicam but my almost 20 year old OM 10...

Really nice! I hoped for some kind of lightning in my shot.

didn't hit the tree (it is about 100 meters from my window)...but I think it was exactely that night that the PSU of my PC went out due to the heavy lightning!

very nice shot! i have to try this...i'm a little nervous about standing next to my metal camera in the thunderstorm...lol..and i am not too sure where i'd do it..my backyard is wooden....

sry....off topic..lol..back on here

nicely done..beautiful lightning here too! is this a crop?

It is really special because the origin of the lightning seems to come out of "nothing."

vito, it is not a crop, the picture came out exactely as you see it (yust a little lighter so i adjusted levels in PS)

well that is pretty amazing....was lightning striking in a certain area? or was this one shot out of fifty shots that had lightning in it?

Sweet! Nice pic! I live in florida and have really seen someexciting lightning

storms but won't know how to capture a picture of it. it happens so quick!
