This is an 8 second exposure with my D70. You can tell how much the upper level air current is moving.

Well, it's definitely "different". Upper atmosphere by you must have been quite turbulent for that much change in 8 seconds, unless your lens was not focused correctly.

Quite a scarey image forms from the void when I look at this. This is what I see:

Wow - quite a different approach to "what do you see in the clouds," hunh?!?!:-) Also, a unique silhouette. I have to say that I find the information in this photo (cloud movement) more interesting than the photo itself. I think the photo lends itself perfectly to a background for something dynamic and dramatic.
