I did my best to focus on the zip puller, or what ever it is called, with the open end of the zip in focus and closed part behind out of focus. 40w bulb for lighting. Maybe it was too close, some parts are over exposed.

Jumping up and down here and yelling, "Turn it into a high-contrast black and white!!!"

The back is out of focus unless my eyes are going. :-) I'm surprised you're not on candle power with the weather down south last night. :-)

Hmm... How's this? Not a true B&W. I can see where you're going with your thinking. I won't enter this for the Colour Blind challenge.

Feel free to play yourself bcoulty and anyone else.

I just sat here sliding back and forth between the two versions, deciding, finally, that I like the color version better after all. I can get fairly pesky at times, can't I?

Ferny,

I keep looking at your posts because Susie just looks so darned cute in my hat. And Pickles made me laugh. Can I adopt your pets? :-)

 I thought you went into my thread because you liked my pictures.

No, you can't have them. We're getting another doggy soon. Just on the look out. As things stand this morning, we might be getting a labrador/springer spaniel cross or a border collie cross. Crossed with what I don't know. :-)
Pickles is a border collie crossed with a kelpie.

border collie and pickles blend, don't you mean? Your pics are very nice, too. But your creativity and the way you photograph your dear pets just really hits me. Don't disappoint me - post a new avatar with your new addition when you get him/her. Make it cute, and keep them all in rotation. I'm starting to miss Pickles but I don't want to see Susie go.

you could, with some html coding, and help from steve, make a sig script, where it keeps randomly showing different ones...

That'd be cool. Could I use ferny's pets for MY gif avatar signature? :-)
