Mmm... Can't you just taste it?:?
Reversed lens, hence shallow DOF. But I like the softness. That is also why I left the vignetting. It could perhaps have been posted as a contrast entry to. The sharp texture and taste with the soft focusing. 40w lamp for lighting.

i really like the softness too, even though, for the reverse lens trick, you got GREAT DOF...

nice shot! great composition..

Oh, Lord, but I do love pistachios, and here's a fine photo of the dear little nut. Not only does this picture fit the DOF and the close-up challenges, but it also completely suits the good-sense challenge. Two thumbs up.

I agree with you about the nice vignetting and softness around the edge. I'm not a nut-lover (just a nut) so this doesn't appeal to my mouth. It is a perfect submittal for many challenges, tho! :-)
