Monkey, my wife doesn't like me meddling in the kitchen so i keep out of her way. :-)

Puck, that's not a bad idea. She has some other stainless steel utensils, I might get some shots of them and suggest your idea to her. It'll save me painting the walls. :-)

Thanks disco. :-)

Wonderful idea jackrussel !

It's always great when a common object becomes something new when photographed close or by unusual angles.

The shoes are simply wonderful.

I would go farther on that idea with a shot where there are no grater borders : just a serie of shoes ! (talking care of eliminating possible reflected objects before shooting in this case ;-)

Thanks sergio, I didn't even notice the resemblance to shoes till i got the photo on the PC.I think the reflection on the top right corner is a tree in the garden as i took the shot on a windowsill. I'll take more care next time, either that or chop the tree down. :-)

This is a very good image. Nice and sharp. But when Iread your title I thought you said Gater. I was surpised by the image. At least your image you can get close too.

Thanks gmaker, if it was a gator i wouldn't go near it with a long zoom never mind close up. :-)
