Photobucket doesn't seem to be behaving at the moment. You're sporting a little red 'x'.

Good. Photobucket is back to behaving itself.

I've always preferred sunrise to sunset. Its always seemed to meyou're more likely to see both softer colors and a wider range of them such as here. I really like this picture.

I prefer sunrise because (1) I am a morning person. Give me 3AM to start a long drive and I'm good to go any day. Give me a treadmill at 5:30 and I don't fall off (2) the day is quieter and there's so much promise and so much to look forward to.

DX, your new avatar, with the impressionist treatment, makes you look reminiscent of John Goodman. I've made enemies by making comparisons before, so I hope you're not offended. Your other avatar, you looked nothing like him (IMHO). :-)

DX6490...this is a heckuva stunner!

Pastoral is an understatement for your fine moment that you have captured.

Also, there is absolutely nothing wrong returning again and again to the "same" view. Each time it will be a little different and each time, perhaps, your "take" will also be a little different.

There is a lake in WA state that I used to go to all the time...the photographic possibilities were endless. The last time I was there was in my "predigital life." I hope to return sometime to shoot a boatload of digital there.
