This look like my typical picture from Ocean Shores, WA. Unless I can get something with bight colors in it I've almost stopped taking pictures down there. Other than moving the bird, this is similar to what I do to my ocean pictures. This was done using PSP 6, on break at work.

1. lasso'd the bird and moved him down to the gray band of clound between the water and the fluffy coulds.

2. cloned out the old bird, and cloned in the clounds around the new bird.

3. increased the saturation by 47%, and lightness by 11%

4. Created a duplicate layer

5.used the sharp tool

6. added a layer mask, to have the original clouds and sharpened sand.

7, increased the contrast by 7% to bring the clouds out more.

Comparing it to the original I may have over processed the clouds. It is probably just user error, but whenever I mess with the saturation everything begins to look pixelated. In any case I've ran out of time to play around with this one. Another idea I had to to cut and paste a kite into it.

Very nice! A tweak here and there really does it to this photo!

Ferny, I caught a couple and deleted. Are there more out there? My SLOOOOOOW internet seems to be doing weird things. It's not showing that I've posted, so I've resubmitted, only to find out on another computer that I HAD posted the first time! I'm at home for the weekend, so if I double post, please forgive me until I can check it on Monday. :roll:I guess I could not post, but what fun is that!??! :-)
