This is from the nostalgia drags last weekend at Pacific Raceways. Not much of a story behind this one other than it really launches hard.

okay play with curves saturation (I think I overdid saturation) and lightness.

then 2 layers:

bottom layer: motion blur about 15 piels

top layer: erase everything but car to reveal motion blur around the car.

crop too.

This is like Discodudette's with a twist

Firstran the auto levels on the image and duplicated the layer. I did a motion blur on the new layer of about 70 pixles, added a layer mask to remove the car from top layer. I then made a elliptical selection, entered the quick mask mode and did a filter to feather the select. Inversed the selection and cleared it to make a white border. I then ran the plaster filter.

I followed the rabble, sorry. But I did do a little something extra. See if you can spot it.

I'm sorry I wasn't here for the beginning - not sure what I would have done. To add at this point would be adding a submittal that was influenced by great prior submittals. These are all nice - great idea, DD! That seems perfect for the shot.Choesen, I like your composite. And, on my monitor, I can't tell whose pic is in the driver's seat, either! :-)Do tell, ferny!

I'll hold back and see if she recognises herself.

Have I made it too obvious now?

Duped layer, then 20 pix motion blur, masked the car except for the rear end. After that did curves and accented brush strokes to give everything but the car a painted look.
