aladyforty, I like yours best. Might I suggest a gradient on the sky? It looks somewhat "flat" but I do like this one best. Very clever, freefly! Nice smile on the horse and renaming of file to "hoss."I'd guess the poster is the cheeky one, not the horse! :-)

Sammy Yousef, I like both even if the second one is my preferred.

Aladyforty, good job with brightness and sharpness. I agree with monkey143 about the gradient thought.

However, before the gradient the point is the colour : you have all pastels colors in this shot but for the sky.

I've opened your shot in my editor and clicked on that cyan to see the values :

HSB(192°,100% ,99%) : this means that saturation of that cyan is 100% and its brightness 99%.

So, from the overall color mix point of view this color is very distant from the other ones of the shot and , as a final results, it detracts attention from the horse.
