Here we go. It's not very good but I thought I'd post it anyway.

Nice submittal, ferny. Interesting. I don't really know what to make of it, so I won't say any more than as art, this succeeds - because it causes me to think and wonder. :-)

Iacopo, I really like your original. The colors are so delicate and almost misty and the road's reflection takes on a sparkling, golden shimmer down the middle. If this isn't what you wanted, I can't imagine how it looked in real life. Very nice.:-)

This is a really nice picture. The only thing I personally don't like is the sky and the towers in the background. So if you don't like it, photoshop it

I used a sunset picture I had in my archives to replace the sky. I also added a soft focus filter effect to give it more of a misty look. I used a layer mask to remove the soft focus from the road to sharpen that up more.

Thank you iacopo and monkey.

Well done choeschen! Was it hard to choose whether to put the sun at the end of the road of to one side of it for you? I would have been in two minds. The road isn't dead centre or straight (easy to fix with some horizon editing needed afterwards) and putting it dead centre isn't always good practise. It's one of those where which ever one I'd done I'd have wished I'd done the other.

choeschen you did a wonderful work I like it very much, the color of the sky fits perfectly with the lens flare of my original picture...it's so natural!

Ferny, looking at his orginal and seeing the glare off of the road the sun did not fit anywhere else but at the end of the road so for me it was a easy decision.

Let me guess - choeschen made it look how you saw it in your mind's eye, right? :-)
