This park just outside downtown Hilo has a moon bridge composed of three semi-circular sections. These are quite popular in Oriental Parks. Enjoy

That bridge makes a delightful center of interest in this photo, for me. It adds a happy twist to the straight lines.

Wow, Selvin...

There is such a beautiful visual alliteration and poetry to your photo.

Great to see posting photos from paradise once again

Beautiful scenery and beautiful reflection, selvin. The moon bridge is an interesting subject in itself and I would have loved to see a tighter crop with it as the center of attention (along with its reflection).

My wife and I are going on a Hawaiin cruise next month. One of the stops is Hilo. I sure hope we get see this spot. It's beautiful and a great photo.

We will be sailing on Norwegian Cruise Lines' "Pride of Aloha".

Beautiful Pic selvin. I was initially inclined to agree with the crop suggestion but as I looked longer, I like the slight intrusion of perhaps palm fronds at the top, but even more so the tree a the left with whatever is red about it. I think that balances the crop quite well. I loved Hilo when we were there way back in '86.....We were there during the 2 or 3 month time when Kilauea was not erupting over the last 20 years.

Thanks for your kind comments and feedback. Cropping is something that came to mind but like RGrotts said the other elements of the scene seemed to fit very well so I decided to retain all of them.

Again mahalo for the suggestions.

Cal if you haven't done so, and wish to preview some Hilo photos take a look at:
