Wife Judysnapped this with the Dimage F200 I gave her last week. Cathy was trying on her wedding veil.

Edit : I forgot to attach the picture.Let's try again!

I guess it was late last night. The file was not compressed enough and got cut in half. Perhaps it will work this time!

Puck, Only the top half is loading for me, too. You'll have to get Judy registered and have her post, since she has a camera! (nice gift!) :-)

Beautiful, Puck! I can see it in its entirety now. It's a very poignant photo and one she'll cherish. I might suggest redoing the shot, focusing on the reflection instead of the netting. If she dons her veil again, I'd sure be curious to see how this works out.

By the way, I love your subtitle! :-)When my sister and I were planning our weddings in the early nineties (right out of schooling), my dad told us each, "I just paid for four years of college for both of you. I'm tapped out. I'm going to give you $1,000 to work with. Do what you can with it; if you have any left over, it's yours for your pocket. If you go over that, you're working now - it's up to you to pay for any additional." Since I went to college for art, it was easy to line up plenty of photographs. We went to a little chappel with a small wedding party, gave them each a token gift, on a Friday night. Saturday we had a nice family reception in Pittsburgh (my home town) complete with 3-tier cake made by the groom's mother (who did this for a living) and Sunday we had a field party (in Somerset, husband's home town)with picnic food I spent the morning making. That way, no one had to travel, it was inexpensive, my mom got to host a delightful party in her home and we got to have a loud party for our college buddies. The following weekend we went away to a little cabin owned by the family of my best friend. I made the invites and thank-you cards myself. Still, I think we were pretty tight with that $1000! :-)Enough rambling. I certainly hope you have a blessed and memorable event.

One more thought - at our wedding (which we were late enough for that our parents thought we had sent them on a wild-goose chase so we could elope), the Pastor called my husband (Mark) "Kevin" throughout the ceremony, and as we were exiting the chappel, I noticed Mark had had his fly down and in my surprise and amusement, I exclaimed this loudly enough for everyone to hear. Things like this WILL happen but they also will be what everyone thinks back on FONDLY. I promise. :-)

Very beautiful picture! I love how you focused more on the veil... It sort of brings out the reflection more, if that makes any sense. She also looks very happy... congradulations!
