This is the one I was having problems taking.

There is a secret to this image that I'll let you into later. Monkey knows what it is. I had to check something with her first.

Aaahhhh - nothing like being an insider, eh? Very nice photo, ferny. I assume those are your eyes? Since in your other thread you were trying to figure out how to take the shot where the cameraneeded to bewhere your chin was. Perhaps someone will figure out that you had the necessary surgery to replace your chin with your camera. Ooops! Guess I let the cat (blingbling) out of the bag? Yes, I see little Susie now. :-)

Yeah, they're mine. Although the colour isn't 100%. My eyes are bluer.

Nice shot. Let me guess, it is a composite of two different pictures.

You all seem so interested an eager to know what the secret is I'll tell you.

Yeah, it's two pictures. One of my eyes one of the knife. What gave it away calr? Me saying I had problems taking it then saying this picture holds a secret? Or is it just a bad effort?

...but it's not really cheating because the reflection in the eyes is really there. :-)

Ferny, I looked carefully at the picture and realized that there is no way you could have shot that picture without the camera showing in the reflection unless some fancy optical setup with several mirrors or prisms was used.

One question: What is the background?

The bottom is my quilt without its cover and in the top is my radiator. The room was dark when I took the background shot. Hence the brown hue and the noise. The knife was being held by one of those magnifying glass thingies which have two crocodile clips. I set the opacity level of the eyes (taken in brighter conditions) to blend them together.

Nice observance, cal. This shot was deceptively difficult, drawing an opinion from what ferny's mentioned in this and other posts, as well as the PM he sent me. You have looked at this long and hard to get behind the photo. Good job!
