I took about 200 pictures since friday. Most of them from hurricane charley. But that's something for another day. :-) I got this this shot right before the hurricane hit us.

actually, sending this one turned out to be work, I had to shave off a little to make it fit. Think its bedtime. I post some ore when a got some more gathered....

Well her's a relection.

2:06 and time for bed? I should say so! 200 pics since Friday?!?! Do you shoot in RAW, that you also need to convert them all? In this instance I hope not! You sure are in the thick of it down there, right? Nice photo, and appropriate. The height of the trees show us the grandeur.

I don't think I shot in raw mode but my photo output at 3.1 mp is somewhere around 1.25+ megs per picture. Plus minor adjustments, cropping, and I like to tag em when possible. God bless photoshops tutorials though. I just figured out what the actions stuff is I'll have em up soon enough. I'm riding up to punta gorda where it hit today to get some pics. So I'm probably not gonna be working on anything till this evening. If you'd just like to see pictures in general, http://www.news-press.com is the Ft. Myers news paper.

Here's a couple I got done last night though.

The church is about 3 blocks from my house

I shot this shot a little before sunrise, at iso 400 with infinite focus, -2.0 ev, and no tripod (the hardest part)

And I took this shot last night. The illumination in the background is lightning. We has some good stuff last night .

I wasn't about to catch any lightning directly though. Does anyone have any tips for that? I think its just my camera being whyyuweak but I could be wrong.

Aw... shucks. I wish I could say that... I go through thousands of shots to get MAYBE a couple hundered good ones. I'm still learning things. But I have to say, I'm a lot better than I was in high school.

I took this today. The original is nice, but I got a little carried away; and this is the final outcome.

:-)
