For this challenge, you have to get outside and look for "natural letters." Maybe it's the S-curve of your wife's hip as she hoists Baby or the H made by tile that you see every day but never really noticed. From the A-frame down the road to the Z of tree branches intertwined, the world around us is full of the alphabet. It should not be a setup or altered for the sake of creating the letter (the photo, once captured with the letter, CAN be altered). Finding your letter should be as easy as ABC – it should not be so hidden that we can't find it after really looking.

I didn't realise we were coming up to the next challenge. I had one for the reflections challenge planned but just had to wait for the weather to get better. :lol:
I'll post it in another forum when I get it.

This one looks good. And hard. Are signs acceptable? They contain the alphabet. :lol:

It would be my interpretation that the content of signs would not be acceptable. However, if the sign, itself, makes a letter with its surroundings, that is acceptable. Mods, you have the final say. Good day.

I was only playing calr.

I wonder if we'll get all 26 letters. Or if, to tie in with the Olympics, we'll get any Greek letters.

ferny, I was also wondering whether we'll get the whole alphabet. :-)I think I agree with cal on the signs. That would be like drawing a letter on a blackboard and then taking a pic of the blackboard (kind of).

yeah..i don't think signs should count either...unless, of course, like cal said, they make a letter with it's surroundings...

hmm...maybe we could have the person post a second photo, with the letter marked...if noone can find it...

oh yeah, it would be best, if you were to take the picture during the challenge dates...i think you'll learn the most that way...

and don't forget to put "Natural Letters:" before your title, in the thread name

thaanks!

I've been through the posts and so far we have...

a, b, c, d, e, f, g, h, i, j, k, l, m, n, o, p, q, r, s, t, u, v, w, x, y, z.

bold and underlined = posted
plain = not posted

I've not included the letters others have found, only those that the poster commented on in their original post.

Oh, and as for the Greek alphabet.

Thats my dog, Yukon. I like the shot, of him being all pathetic looking. He's an eskimo mix.
