Here is a railroad cross track on the MAX light rail line in Hillsboro, OR shot about 1/2 hour ago. I count at least eight X's and if you rotate the picture 180 degrees (not flip) there are at least four J's. Minolta S414 -- full auto.

(edit) Just noticed that there are some S's also.

WOW... Thats a good find for this challenge... if it's right near you, different angles could reveal different letters.... although, looking out in the distance, seems a little over exposed..

The location is about a block from where I work.

The sun was low in the morning sky (7:45 AM) and the reflections from signs were pretty bright. Also, the metering system in that Minolta is not the best.

...and some "H's" and "Y's" in the track as well as an "O" in the middle. Plus a bevy of "I's" in the fence. :-)

Great entry calr. Did you think of that spot when reading the challenge or did you notice it on the way to work?

I see that spot every day, either from the train or when I park in the parking garage just out of sight to the left. When I read the challenge, I thought this is perfect. I have a few other pictures in mind, some already taken and some in my mind.

Wow, nicely done! I can see the X's mainly, but I also see lots of letters when I let my mind wander!
