Wow - nice Q! Also, the darkness and camera movement on this one really add to the great character of the photo, I think. :-)

PS - I love your avatar! Is that really a squirrel, that looks black?

Very nice photonut.

You can get black squirrel's monkey. I think they're regarded as a pest by many though. Not sure why, I love squirrels.

I've never seen one (until now). That's great! I'm finding out through this site how much I don't know - about photography, about nature, about other geographical areas - about LIFE! It's so much fun to learn. :-)

I thought the shot turned out ok. 1/2 shutter, in a large crowd, with sahky hands would explain the movement. A couple shots were more clear, but the flames did not make letters .

Peanuts were put out to try to attract Blue Jays this spring. My avatar shows the result. :?. Yes they can be pests, but they (3 of them), waiting for the nuts in the morning when I leave for work....................you know.

Glad you like both pics.

It seems my OFFICE is waiting for the nuts every weekday morning . Very nice. I'll bet your super-sharp photos of that scene don't have HALF the ambiance that your posted one does.

I had two in the tree and one on the ground. But if I get all three in one shot, I will post it for ya.

That'd be great! He's so cute - almost looks like a cross between a squirrel and a black bear! :-)
