Thanks. I'm glad you like the first one. I hope no one considers it cheating though :-). I planned to submit a low key only, but I got to playing around .... because I can and it's fun.

Anyway, it's a round glass paper weight sitting on top of a MAG-Lite flash light with a bunch of toilet paper between the paper weight and the flash light to diffuse the light. The low key is just this setup in a room with the lights off.

The high key is the same picture with a filter applied in thumbs plus called point invert and then I removed the color to make it b&W :-)

good use of household items..

Wow! The low key is perfect for fall - great colors and mystery. Setting up a shot is definately not cheating, here! Fantastic job, as vito said!:-)

Thank you for your comments Monkey. I debated on whether to post my pictures or not, but I'm glad I did now. I've been wanting to get involved with this forum as it is a fantastic idea. I hope to start posting more as I hadn't realized how much fun this can be and not to mention a good learning experience.
