That's great! I am trying to figure out how you did it. A high shutter speed would not have captured the trails from the propellers. A low shutter speed would have captured a blur. So....inquiring minds want to know how you did it.

Hi,

:GPure Luck. Actually, I no longer have the data file that went with the photo. As I recall, however, the prop tiparcs lingered for quite some time in the high humidityand given the light conditions that day I would guess a shutter speed in the 1/200th range. It was taken with a Coolpix 4500 using a TC3ED 3X convertor. The C130 was just begining takeoff roll and hadn't gathered much speed.
