Tom, these colors are beautiful! It looks a little light - could it be a little more saturated? Most excellent submittal to the challenge. :-)

My monitor here at work is a little dark (though I have the brightness turned up full), so I had to bump the gamma up to see it properly. Let's try a "deeper" version:

IMHO the lighter colors look more natural. Very nice.

Aahhh. I really like the second one much better, with respect to Suzan and your photo. Different strokes for different folks! Either way, great submission! :-)

Thank you. The colors in southeastern Michigan haven't even peaked yet. I see a LOT of variety in color along the freeways, but there's nowhere safe to stop!
