I shot it this morning on a wondeful sunny autumn day.

I focused on infinity and tryed to frame the tree inside the glasses.

Here it comes :

P.S. :

- rotation,crop

- automatic levels and contrast

- car border selection

- blur control to emulate DOF and let the background being less distracting

- Some dogde&burn tool brushstrokes on the reflected image.

brilliant idea! i love it!

the blur has a PS look to it...lol, pickiness..sorry...it just doesn't look like a lens did it...but the selective blurring works well...

great composition

I salute your vision, Brtsergio, to "see" and "capture" this photo!

Thank you all for your nice comments.

Photosbyvito : true, it would be nice to have some sort of intelligentblur that grows as "distance" goes on. 3D distance information on 2D shots however cannot be easily extracted.

In this case however it looks like distance is really increasing from bottom to top, so, maybe , I could experiment with applying a transparent gradient layer tothe one with the blurred effect....

When I saw the subject, I didn't think I was going to like it since I generally don't like pictures of cars. However, I was totally wrong in this case. The subject is the reflection, not the car, and you have done a wonderful job with it. Kudos.

That reflection is so sharp! The colour of the car frames it beautifully and blends in with the out of focus section. And has anyone noticed the red cluster light and the small red tent(?)? And then there's the angle...

Good eyes ferny !

I have to tell you the truth, though !

I didn't notice the red tent at shooting time ! It was too small and I was mainly concentrated to frame the tree inside the glasses. I noticed the red tent only when I edited the shot in Photoshop.

I left it ... saying ... let's see if someone notice it andsay soemthingabout it.

I don't know if removing it would provide a more "clean" shot.

Maybe ! Or maybe not so much cause it get confused with the red light and it's a nice surprise realizing there's also a red tent reflecting in the glass corner !

One thing I know for sure : this shot would be very different without the red light !

Calr, thank you very much of your comment ! I appreciated it !
