Well into its autumn growing season, this cluster of white Podoscypha petalodes ("Wine Glass Fungus") is ready for harvesting...should you enjoy chomping on leathery fungi that is.

Nicely done...

I like the brown texture of tree on left coupled with colors in right background.

Looks like one ofthe mushroomsis the life of the party....

Yeah...He is Fun Gus.

Very nice, and appropriate! I had always heard he was a "fun guy." Now I know he has a name - Gus!!

Ah, they're best when still fresh but like Peeps, good even when stale. My grandma used to have Circus Peanuts and Toasted Coconut Marshmallows in her kitchen drawer..all the time. I can always count on a chuckle when DCF responds...makes my day.
