I had played with this awhile ago and wasn't sure if I'd ever posted it. :-)

I very much like the idea. But I'm not so sure about the focus. It's soft, but not soft enough. I'd have either liked it all dead sharp, or all a nice soft focus to leave just a shape. That is just my preference. I may be the only one to feel that way. But even if I'm not, it's your photo and if you like it what does what I think matter?
As I said, I like the idea and you should definitely give it another go. And post that one to!

LOL - ferny, I would if I could - you give good advice - but that flower has been buried beneath the 8" of snow we got. :-)

Snow.
We've had a couple of inches this winter so far. That's it. Hardly any rain to.

Up until this past weekend, we had 50 degree weather and no snow, either. At least we'll have a White Christmas! :-)
