E20 with B300, TCON W-08, Olympus Macro.

Also, currently, test driving a FZ20. So far, I am lukewarm on it as far as photo quality goes. That said, there are some truly amazing photos being shot with it by others on this forum. Go to panasonic forum to see!

Its strengths are: 12x optical zoom, fast power up and focus lock. Fast processing of pics, even mega MB Tiff. It likes my TCon W-08.

With B300, with IS set to 2, spot (center) focus, Pemerall 62 mm adapter and 62-55 stepdown ring, it works fine with no vignetting at full (12x) tele!

Its "liabilities":

If you power up with accessory lens attached, it tells you to power off/on. It will continue to tell you this until...you power off once again, remove your accessory lens and power up. There must be an optical diagnostic check of the lens upon powerup...

Also, I am salivating over Olympus E-300 but I am very concerned that they flat out do not offer E series extended warranties for the E-1 or E-300.

10D and Olympus c-3000z

Both capable of fully auto or manual.

I shoot in either Av or M, and hardly ever use the old olympus anymore.

How far back do you want to go?

What I currently own (and continue to use)

1948 Zeiss Ikon Nettar 6x6 folder: manual EVERYTHING!

1950 Zeiss Ikon Super Ikonta B 6x6 folder rangefinder: manual

1952 Ziess Ikon Ikoflex Ic 6x6 TLR: manual

1964 Ziess Ikon Contaflex super 35mm SLR: manual

Contax 167MT 35mm SLR: AE but manual focus

Contax RX 35mm SLR: AE and semi-automatic manual focus

Contax G2 35mm rangefinder: AF/AE or manual

Contax T3 35mm point and shoot: AF/AE or aperture priority

Yashica T4 super 35mm point and shoot: all auto

Sony V3: auto or manual but I use it in A mode.

What do ALL of these cameras have in common?
