This how the town square in my home town looks these days. Both were taken last December 20 and are part of the collection found in this site. Each one shows the landmark buildings that dominate the town square.

What time of night did you take these? I'm just asking because no-one is around. It looks great there luisr. You've done it justice to. Well done.

Theywere taken around 9 PM. During the rest of the year you would not see a sould at that time but every year the decorations draw lots of people to the town square. The pictures were taken on a Monday which may explain the few people seen there. I could not take them during the weekend because the city government has been sponsoring shows every week with live music and all and a stage is placed in front of the church. The stage floor is there but not visible at all.

Thans for your comments. This is the third year I do this and this time I am very satisfied with the results. The prior years are in my web site too. First one was taken taken the very next day I got the camera, second I goofed a bit with the settings and they came out dark, this time I think I nailed it. I used the same camera, a Kodak DX4330.

I went back to the town square tonight for a quick look. Today the place was crowded. Just so that you can relate to what I said previously, I attached a picture a took a few moments ago. It is not nearly as good as the other ones because I didn't have the tripod with me.
