This is the first challenge entry with my new camera. :lol:



It's a corner of a Christmas reindeer. You know, one of those silhouette rope light thingies. It was hanging on a mirror and the only real light around was this reindeer. Because of the lack of light it had nothing to reflect and it came out black.

Here's the colour version. I find the colours distracting though. I showed it to others. Some prefer the colour, some the b&w.

i like the b/w better...

i think if you added a frame..it would make it more obvious where your photo ends...and begins...lol, the tough partabout a black background :-\

nice shot though!

If you look carefully you can see a very light line around the photo. That's a result of the selction tool (I'm not sure if you can get rid of that?). It may be too light in your room right now. Try when it's dark.
I like the way it blends in with the site as well.

I like the shape and the internal illumintation realy sets it of nice.
