I hope mobile camera phone shots will be accepted in the challenge too.

I took this shot during lucnh cause I wanted to record that long site name it was been advertized on the paper placemat.

This evening, while looking at my mobile display, I noticed the shadows.

I started to work on it to enhance contrast and saturation

Here it comes

Impressive quality for a phone cammera. However, in and of itself I think the composition is really muddy and confused.

Thanx for speaking frankly, I appreciate it !

As far as the image quality is concerned , well it comes fromthe640x480 resolution camera of a 6320 Nokia mobile.

However the original is not that impressive. Some work has to be done with Photoshop to enhance the mobile shots.

I attach the original one straight from the phone for a comparison.

I think that with a bit of sharpening the original would be better. In your edit the dark text gets lost and hard to read in parts of the shadow.

It's very good though. It'd make an excellent advertisement shot. E-mail it to the site and see what they think.

Ferny, now that I'm looking at this shot with my CRT monitor ( I edited with a laptop ) , I perfectly agree with you : it's too dark and the text gets lost !
