I found these sets of dog prints on a beach in Australia last week.

you mean paw prints

nicely found a bit more DOF would probably work here, to get all the prints sharp...

Yes you are right.

I was more concerned with not getting shake than thinking about DOF. I should think more before I press the shutter release
