"Snow Fleas" are a unique sign of Spring here in Michigan, and areusually foundsparsely scattered across the surface of the snow. For some reason this old deer track was full of them. My wife found it while we were walking in the woods, so I captured a picture.

I believe theylive in the bark ofcertain trees until a warmer sunny day, and then we noticethem on occasioncreeping around on the snow. The deer track full was weird! Never seen that many in one spot before. Odd.
