Interesting monochromatic shot.

I can spot a skewer in there, so am guessing some kind of ka-bob's?

Peter.

I guess I am not diverse enough. Great photo, but the subject does nothing for me. If I had to face that in person, I am afraid I would be making a quick trip to the restroom.

No disrespect meant. I am sure that this cuisine is enjoyed a great deal by the Phillipine people but it would take time and willpower for me to adjust to it. I suppose the same could be said for any ethnic cuisine. About a year ago, I was required by my job to take a class in diversity training. I work for a county government agency and many races are represented by our employees and the people we serve. An assignment in the class was to go out and try an ethnic restaurant whose cuisine you had never tried before. My wife and I chose to go to a Thai restaurant. She liked it but I didn't although I am sure I could learn to like it.

As I said, the photograph is excellent.

nice shot mark. good contrast with the colors.. the gray charcoal/wood and the color of the meat.

being a filipino myself, i love it. its a good chaser when drinking out with the friends.
though i would understand why some wouldn't like it. the taste is typical pork but seeing it before it goes in your mouth is what gets to you.
its just an acquired thing i suppose.

haha, you're probably right...is the consistency the same too?

i dunno, it looks too "intestinal" for me...lol

great shot of it though! looks nice and juicy, and the reflected light off of the 'pig-kabobs' works well

Mark, you made my mouth water. The ears are nice and crunchy. Great shot by the way.

Wait!.....Wait!....Let me guess! You are a camera man for FearFactor, right?

Nice shot...great detail.

I can't say that I would eat it....but it's a good shot nevertheless.

Looks very tasty. Like to wash them down with a couple of San Miguel's.
Thanks

haha suzan. its just a matter of packaging i suppose.

i mean, if the the bbq meat in the photo was in the shape of something familiar, like hamburger or a hotdog. we never give it a second look.
though somewhat the same contents.
