Really like the first one. The light swirls in the bowl of the glass the the dark swirls in the stem. A still life that made me smile. Now, how'd you do it. Come on. . .fess up.

Cool shot,
Food coloring dripped in the water and turned to negative in PS? Very cool results! I'm not sure if I would have liked it better without the drops of water on the glass, they kind of distract, could just be me though.

Thank you ImKayd1, GoCubs was rightin that its a negative image withfood coloring dropped in the water. I used Virtual Photographer plugin on shoebox setting to get a negative b/w. The background is actually a white piece of posterboard. The lighting was 2 hologens over my head and shot from about 2 feet away. fstop 8.0 at 1/20 sec. Thanks alot for interest!

Thank you GoCubs and good job you were right. I enjoy seeing people figure out techniques and posting comments and questions.

And Brad I was thinking the same thing when i named it! lol

Thank you everyone for viewing and comments!

Here is the original with autolevels and sharpen. I thought it was pretty boring so i did some experimenting which led me to the first pic which i like alot better.

Best regards,

Mag
