Something about this photo bothers me but I can't pinpoint what it is. I think it is a combination of lighting and composition. It is obviously overcast. I think some amount of fill flash would have helped. I think the composition could have been better. In this case, dead center doesn't do it for me.

I downloaded the picture and tried enlarging it in PSP but the resolution is too low to be of any help.

I will give this one a score of 6 out of 10.

I don't like this picture either. Itdoesn't seem tohave a true center of interest. There's also a synthetic look to it as if it were made of polyester, probably created by the very white snow and the slick looking bark. The photographer could have found a more interesting, personable tree, if you ask me.

Wasn't run through Photoshop--ever--but you're right about its having that look.

this one doesn't do much for me either..

I don't know that it's all that bad, not great either.. It looks like it's covered with ice and has a lot of sun reflecting off of it.

The thing I like about this photo is the snow, light and shadows give it a metalic look. Depending on what else was going on in the background this had potential for being very surreal.

The more I look at this photo the more I like it. I don't know why but I do. I'd let you know when I figure it out but really all that matters is if I like it or not. *winks*
