I am sorry but there is nothing good I can say about this picture. If it is supposed to be an abstract, it is too abstract for me. The white background is too much and the composition is not good. This is my opinion, not necessarily the same as others.

I won't put a score on this one.

I've always loved totally stark photos. Photographa smellyold sneaker on a field of white sand and I'll be in love.

I like stark also but this just seems off balanced. Like someone had a great idea and didn't know what to do with it.

Boy could I be sticking my foot in my mouth here. It's probably by some hotsy totsy photographer and just sold for $20,000. Ack.

Folks, us poor trees just can't seem to get any respect.

I agree, the stark nature of the shot just doesn't seem to pay homage enough to the tree.

I like this one. It's simple andelegant. A bit bright but I like the composition.

A little overexposed, but not badly. Although it looks monochrome, it's not, is it? I would estimate the branch to be 5 to 6 feet above the ground, so if one were standing next to it without snow, the branch would be just about head height. Gives you a different perspective, doesn't it?
