Hi,

I am the Storyteller (see me ? ... just in the middle).

I welcome you to our family tree. You can see the complete family around me.

The four children are standing by me. Their mother died a few years ago. See her husband is still holding her in his arms. Their grandfather is standing behind their father.

It is finally not a sad story. It is thestory of life anddeath.

I thank you for visiting us.

Take care,

The storyteller

Thanks Vito,

I took that shot on Vancouver Island last summer in the Cathedral Park.

By any chance are these redwoods? In Felton, CA, at the top of the Big Trees and Roaring Camp Railroad is a ring of giant redwoods, all the off spring of an ancient and now completely absent mother tree. The room created by this ring of trees can hold 20 or 30 people or more. It's a stunning experience to stand there and imagine how old the trees in the circle are, then how old and large the mother tree must have been, then how long it must have taken for all that redwood to disappear and create such a room....great story BTW....

Yes. They are giants Redwoods. The ones in the picture are small in comparison with others I shot. In that forest its easy to imagine how small we are.

For some reason, I am not able to see this photo.... only the "red x". I can see all the other photos in this thread. Anyone else unable to see it?

I see it fine, but I've come across times when everyone else is seeing the picture except me. Gremlins are the cause.
