very nice cal...

the highlights are a bit hott for me...but i love the composition, and the moss/lichen covered trunks look great

i also like the square (or near square) crop!

This is a superb photo, Cal! Absolute excellence. I disagree with Vito on the hot spots. Without them, there would be far less sense of the strong sunshine. Heck, we see hot spots in the world with our own eyes, so why shouldn't they also appear in our pictures?

Reminds me of the Cherry blossom festivals.

Your Minolta S414 is still producing some wonderful stuff! Occasionally I bring out my S404 and they are a great line of cameras.
