I've been trying to capture water and am open to suggestions...

I hear of polarising filters - but have never tried one (and my Kodak 6490 doesn't really have a way of attaching them anyway...)

I've had some fun withvery shortexposures, when the light permits it.

Anybody got any suggestions?!

I am not sure what this has to do with bridges but a bit over exposed. If you shot this in auto, try using about -0.5 exposure compensation or spot meter on the hot spot. If it comes out too dark, you can correct it in PS or PSP. However, there is no way to fix a blown highlight.

Two suggestions, not related to the photo. First, try using a darker or black font for your posting. I have to highlight your text to read it. Second, you might want to post this in the "Critique and Technique" forum.
