The most famous bridge over the Grand Canal, Venice. I took the original with a Samsung film camera and this is a shot of the print with a Ricoh Caplio RR30. Though it's not too clear, there are two rows of shops all along the bridge. Ordinarily this is a busy thoroughfare, but when the shops are open it's heaving !

Congrats on remarkable quality from a rephotographed print!

So you're one of those rich people who can afford to travel round in a glandular?

Thanks guys and Caroline.

Vito, You can also see the hair of my youngest in the bottom right. Perhaps I should have cropped it out, but there would be less bridge then. (note to self : that's what the clone stamp tool is for you eejit !).

Alan T, thanks for the praise and I wish I were one of the rich. I just feel, if you go to Venice, you have to have some of that glandular fever, and I could only afford the one hour anyway :-).

Caroline, in another pic of Venice by joelw135 I commented that I couldn't believe any photos of Venice hadn't been posted yet ! It's such a beautiful city and full of bridges. Let's hope we see some more.

Steve.
