My girlfriend wanted me to post this picture.
I would like to have had a good camera with me for this shot.
It was quite the treasure to see a double rainbow I have not ever seen one before. We could see the both ends of the rainbow. We could see how much brighter the sky is inside the rainbow. Notice the the colors of the second rainbow are opposite because its a reflection of the first. Sorry for quality but thought it was really interesting.

Sometimes it's the quality of a photo that attracts and sometimes it's the content. This is a good case for content. If all you have with you is a camera phone, and if you choose not to take the picture because it isn't a "real" camera, then you end up with nothing, nada, just plain old squat. You chose well and ended up with a rainbow. My hat's off to you.

Hats off to my girlfriend as she took the pic. Our umbrella was folding in half from the wind while she was taking the picture. It was pretty funny. There could have been quite a few pics. the rainbow and dark skies with lightning while the sun was reflecting off the buildings and water on the ground. Thanks for the comments. I'm glad I posted.

Although not as sharp as a digicam, it certainly captures the essence of the double rainbow. Although I don't have a camera phone, there is a 1.3 mp digital camera plugin for my PDA. It plugs into the memory card slot on top.

Anyway kudos to your girlfriend for taking the picture and you for posting it. BTW, how do you get a cell phone picture downloaded to your PC?

I'll have to see what new camera phones are available. If you have internet access on your phone you can email the picture.

Cal,

As iblaineman said, you can send it to your email if you have internet access on your phone (as many do these days), or you can buy a USB data cable to upload directly to the computer, the software comes with the cable. You would have to check for the right one for your phone.

Nice pic for a camera phone. Wonder how big it's CCD is?

Anyways, if your taking pictures in a rainstorm, better it be your cell phone than your expensive Digicam.
