Redlight, greenlight.....should I stop or should i go?

Methinks you had the shutter open just as the light changed from red to green. Nice catch. Slightly overexposed which caused the lights to balloon out. This would be a great spot to use a star filter. If you don't have one, Barbara Coultry tells me that a piece of window screen held in front of the lens will give the same effect.

Show us more.

Agree with calr a tad overexpsoed.. But oh those reflections on the street...
