Very nice berto, My favorite is # 2, but the reflections are great in # 1.

Best regards,

Nice results Berto.

I wonder what the results would have been had you been on higher ground and able to get reflection on the water. You almost did it on the first one shown.

What do you think Cal?

First off, let me say that these are superb shots. Oftentimes fireworks shots are overexposed which washes out the color. The colors come throug beautifully here. As for the reflection, what I can see looks good also. I am not sure about the higher vantage point. The water looks a little rough. The colored streaking that you can get from the water would be good but a mirror image of the fireworks probably was not possible in this case.

Good work.

You're right - I failed to notice the condition of the water.

thanks a lot gang. i appreciate your comments as always.

the camera worked well, as usual. i really like this nifty G5.
i broke my regular tripod earlier that week and the only tripod i had left was the emegency $5 tripods from Kmart. which had me shooting virtually 3-4inches from the ground.
its a good thing the G5 has a view screen that flips out. its the best way to compose from the bottom up without having to be a contortionist.

thanks again.
