Once again taken with the olympus I think this was before I had the rebel. I would like to know how to make the moon look better but still it was pretty cool to see.

Wow, What a awesome picture. I haven't seen anything like that before. I like the fuzzy effect. Looks misty like tears! Nice job!

Nice shot. I have seen pictures of those lights on CNN.com shortly after they were installed. Very impressive. Regarding the moon, there are several possibilities. First is an old photographers trick. Photograph the moon separately and paste it in in your editing software. You can get much more optimal exposure on both the moon and the skyline scene. The second option you've seen me mention several times here. Use a split neutral density filter to reduce the brightness of the moon. It looks like there might have been some high clouds or fog. The moon appears diffused by fog.

That's the list of my ideas. Maybe someone else will come up with something.

Thanks I'm glad you like the picture. The moon was diffused I'm sure but also the CA doesn't help. Maybe I should borrow a moon from mhansen's moonrise through the trees picture .
