As Peter said, I also liked it when you first posted it in the Architectural Photo forum (I think). This is a great example of what this challenge is about. I wish I could find some spots like that in Portland. There are lots of groups of townhouses done in multiple colors but the colors are all subdued "earth tones". I guess I need to poke around in some of the older parts of town.

The scene reminds me of some of the older residential areas of many inner cities on the mainland.

The shot brings out the character of the buldings and also reminds us that a new coat of paint can make the difference betweeen our preceptions of urban decay and urban renewal. Hopefully beauty isn't only skin deep.
